I believe that a website needs to reflect the purpose of the company or individual it represents. Some businesses lend themselves to straightforward, no-nonsense sites, while other are more playful...or experimental. To me, the one thing I think should remain constant is that a site should be crisp and uncluttered. Content is King. Web design elements should compliment the content, and should not overshadow it. This philosophy is reflected in every site I create.

Therefore, when creating a site, I design it in a way that best showcases its content. Because of this, I don't charge by page. (Likewise, different Flash, forms, custom graphics, logos, scanning of graphics, javascript rollovers, mailing lists, databases, search engines, or other elements involve different levels of work and are not billed by element. They are "included" with the pages, where applicable/necessary/desirable.) I charge by the amount of work involved in the overall project.

Besides designing a site from scratch, I can redesign your website. If you tell me your existing URL, I will get back to you with a prognosis. Redesign fees are charged similarly to new site fees.

All pages I create will be tested cross-platform and on a variety of screen resolutions. They will contain meta keywords and be submitted to the top search engines. (Meta keywords and descriptions are what search engine robots use to determine placement of your site in their directory.)
